- 'Get in on the act' works better than 'Get involved'
- Go back to using song lyrics as the main text on the poster and just use 'Get in on the act' as the tagline at the bottom.
- The lyrics don't need to relate to anything in particular, just use ones that will stick out in peoples minds.
- We could still use 'C'mon feel the noise' even though this is part of their existing campaign - it will show that we like what they've got so far...it just needs developing.
- Images work well but at the moment it is just 'a texture' - we need to make one main person stand out (The main, central person could relate the song lyric used).
- Don't worry about making posters interactive, it will work without stressing this point.
So...from this, we decided on some memorable lyrics.
The lyrics we chose were;
- 'Well, Shake it up baby now' - The Beatles.
- 'Talkin 'bout my generation' - The Who.
- 'C'mon feel the noise' - Slade.
- 'Forget all your troubles, come down town' - Petula Clark.
- 'Come n dance wiv me' - Dizzee Rascal and Calvin Harris.
After deciding on these...I went away and worked on a series of images and Nichola worked on the type.
'Well Shake it up Baby now' -
The Beatles as main focus.
The Beatles as main focus.
The following two aren't based on lyrics that we chose, but I wanted to do them for my own development because I think they would work well.
'London Calling' -
Clash guitarist as main focus.

I'm really happy with how they all turned out, and think they work really well as a set.
