Lyrics and Type...deciding on the songs to use

After writing out a few ideas for what the songs could be grouped as...I researched what the actual songs in the lists would be.

Some people may see this as pointless and I should have just decided on one list to research...but I didn't want to find out the same artist was on one list about 5 times...because then it wouldn't varied and I just think it would ruin the set.

From the lists...I have 'whittled it down' to;
- Past 10 songs to be the headline performance at the MTV VMA's.
- 2000 - 2009 'Best Single' at the Kerrang! awards.
- Top 10 'First Dance' songs.
